With a career spanning founding and co-founding technology businesses, consultancy, interim executive, and non-executive board roles across the NHS, government, charity, and commercial sectors, Andrew has spent close to four decades helping organisations use information and technology to drive meaningful change.
He co-founded Rochester Information Systems and Health-IX Ltd, and was an early-stage director at Cloudfm - later becoming Non-Executive Board Director and, once the business was large enough to need one, taking on the Group CIO role part-time while the company recruited permanently into the position.
He's also held CIO roles at InHealth (the UK's largest specialist provider of diagnostic imaging and screening for the NHS) and Health Education England (as its first-ever CIO), and led the UK's first integrated Digital Health and Care Strategy for the States of Jersey - sitting on the Board as technical specialist adviser and playing an instrumental role in setting up the region's tech investment model in the health space, connecting start-ups with industry linkage, evaluation, and investment guidance to help get investments and pilots off the ground; he was later invited back as a key judge on the Care-Tech awards panel once the model was fully operational.
He continues to sit on the board of My Melanoma as Technology Strategy Adviser, and currently splits his time between the UK and Brisbane, Australia, working as Director of Digital Transformation (Screening) and Interim CTO at InHealth, alongside his own consultancy, F.Consulting.
